From nachos to macaroni and cheese, here are five vegan recipes that spare the cheese but not the flavor.

This recipe is not your average appetizer. Begin by adding boiled carrots, potatoes and onions to a blender, followed by garlic cloves, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, nutritional yeast, ground turmeric, oat milk, salt and pepper. “Broc’ ‘n’ roll” with this vegan rendition of “cheesy” broccoli rice. First, cook onion and broccoli in a skillet until soft. Then add rice.
