Reporter Food: Novi Breakfast Club
Novi, MI – There are several Breakfast Club restaurants in the Metro Detroit area, including those in Commerce, Madison Heights, Troy, Farmington Hills, Royal Oak, and Livonia, as well as the one in Novi that I recently visited for a tasty morning takeout meal.
I had the Smoked Salmon Benedict, which is an English muffin topped with smoked salmon, soft poached eggs, dill cream cheese, red onions and hollandaise. This came served with tomatoes au gratin.
I also ordered the French Crepes made with fresh berries and vanilla custard topped with raspberry sauce. Both dishes were absolutely amazing.
They even threw in a couple of chocolate covered cherries to make the meal even more memorable.
Breakfast Club aims for fabulous breakfast choices. Among them are classic favorites like The Fluffy (scrambled eggs, bacon and cheddar on a croissant), Omelets like The California (bacon, tomato, cheddar, and avocado) and the Farmer Connor’s (sausage, onion, potatoes, cheddar and sausage gravy).
On the sweet side there are pancakes, French toast, and waffles, including Oven Baked French Toast (loaded with fresh berries and a thick streusel topping). There are sandwiches for the lunchtime crowd, including the Monte Cristo, the Reuben, and the Veggie Wrap. And there’s a nice mix of benedicts including Classic and Southwestern.
