Chilled coolers are a summer sin that we are definitely not guilty of! The tempting sugary and sweet drinks just make our afternoons better. With the soaring temperatures, we definitely need something to not only keep our body balance in check but also a cooling sensation to keep ourselves hydrated and sane. The unfathomable joys of enjoying those delicious chilled drinks on a Sunday afternoon are magical and as we notice an increase in temperature, we are all set to stock up our refrigerator with home-made summer coolers to beat the heat.

1. The Classic Lemon Soda
The perfect way to kickstart those summer days, a chilled glass of lemon soda is not just packed with refreshing ingredients but also gives a boost of hydration to your body, making it a perfect delectable drink for our summer days.
Ingredients:
A few mint leaves
Sugar (powdered)- 3 tsp
Sugar syrup- 2 tsp
Lemon juice
Soda water
Ice cubes
Method:
1. Put the mint leaves in a glass of your choice. Then add sugar and sugar syrup, followed by lemon juice. Mix all of them well.
2. Por the soda water into the glass and add some ice cubes. Mix them well and garnish the glass with lemon pieces and your drink is ready to be served.
2. Sattu Sharbat To The Go
A healthy and refreshing recipe to beat the scorching heat of the season, sattu sharbat is an all-time summer favourite.
Ingredients:
Water-1.5 litres
Sattu- 6 tsp
Jaggery or sugar- add as per taste
Black salt- 1/4 tsp or 2 to 3 pinches of black salt (as per your convenience)
Method:
Mix all the ingredients well in a glass and add some ice before you sip onto your lip-smacking drink.
3. Aam Panna: Forever Favourite
The mango season is officially here and what better than the taste of the summer favourite to satiate your taste buds.
Ingredients:
Green mangoes- 500 gms
Sugar-1/2 cup
Salt: As per your taste
Mint leaves- 2 tsp
Roasted and powdered cumin seeds
Water- 2 cups
Method:
1. Start by boiling the mangoes until they become soft and allow them to cool afterwards. Then remove the skin and squeeze the pulp out of the mangoes.
2. Mix all the ingredients well and add the water. Add some ice in the glass and pour the mixture into it.
4. Jaljeera
The most easy and lovable drink of the season, jaljeera is the perfect way to quench your thirst for chilled coolers.
Ingredients:
Roasted cumin
Water
Ice cubes
Method:
For this recipe, you need to add all the ingredients into a blender and mix them well. Once you blend all ingredients then as per your convenience you can also add boondi to garnish it.
