For breakfast, a dessert, or simply as a sweet snack during the day, these peanut butter and banana pancake bites are an absolute winner – for kids and grownups.
They taste incredible – I mean seriously amazing.
There’s somethins about peanut butter and banana that is so moreish, and putting the combo in pancake form just takes it to the next level.
To make these, you can use a ready pancake mix or make your own pancake batter.
Feel free to experiment with other flavours, too – chocolate or cinnamon could be a great addition.
Recipe: Peanut butter banana pancake bites

Ingredients
For the batter:
- 200g self-raising flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp caster sugar (optional)
- 1 medium egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 300ml milk
Plus:
- One banana
- Peanut butter
Method:
- Start by making your batter by mixing the dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix the wet ingredients in another bowl. Pour wet into dry. Whisk until you get a smooth batter.
- Take your banana and cut into thick slices. You should get around eight. Not spread peanut butter over one half and top with a slice of banana.
- Dip the banana bite into the pancake batter and make sure your cover it all. You can use fingers or tongs.
- Place the bite in a hot pan with oil and cook for a few mins on each side, then roll around so the edges get cooked.
