1 Plant-based recipes — I am so happy to see that The Dallas Morning News has started to print plant-based recipes. It has become evident in these past few years that a diet centered on plants is the best diet for disease prevention and even disease reversal.
Animal products are high in fat and cholesterol, causing so many of the diseases that plague our nation. And the processed foods that are so convenient have increased obesity rates everywhere.
We have a thriving plant-based community here in Dallas to help provide support and resources for those learning about and transitioning to eating more plants.
Our journey can be found through Plant Based Dallas on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Google. Again, thank you to The News for providing healthy, healing recipes to help turn our health around. Keep up the great work!

2 Column on ethics— Re: “A return to ethics: 1968,” by Lindsey Novak, Sunday Jobs section column.
I would like to commend you for this column by Novak. It was absolutely excellent! The points she made were precisely on target, insightful and meaningful.
It is my hope that many of your readers not only read this column, but save it for others, as I did. I have had a plaque of the 10 Paradoxical Commandments in my office for the last 20 years. They serve as a poignant, pointed reminder of how we determine our own conduct and behavior, irrespective of the actions of others.
Again, thank you for running this column.

3 “This week ... inside the newsroom” newsletter — Just wanted to thank you for emailing me your “This week ... inside the newsroom” newsletter. Your investigative reporting is so important in helping to limit abuse and malfeasance by government entities.
I also enjoy reading about the experience and background of reporters and editors. Someday, I would like to invite a Dallas Morning News editor to speak at one of our events in Fairview.
We welcome your thoughts in a letter to the editor. See the guidelines and submit your letter here.
