Black Beans with Epazote UW-Extension

As fall approaches, it’s the perfect time to turn over a new leaf and try a new recipe. UW-Extension of Racine County shares with the Racine County Eye an authentic Mexican dish to try. Black Beans with Epazote will certainly warm you up this fall and satisfy your stomach!

As the temperature drops, try it out! If people are “not quite ready to warm up their kitchen with this cooking on the stove for awhile, have them tuck this away for the cooler weather, I know I will,” shares Jillian Frideres, FoodWIse Nutrition Educator of Racine/Kenosha.

Black Beans with Epazote is a hearty meal can be made in approximately 3 hours and is described as “a warm, cozy meal that is a great source of protein & perfect for weekend meal planning.”
