    The best way to cook quinoa is to first rinse it well in enough water. The reason for the same is that it has a bitter covering called saponin, which must be washed away. Also, when cooking quinoa, make sure that you double the water and cook for 10-15 minutes without covering. Afterwards, just take it off the heat and set it aside for 10 minutes so that it can absorb the water and get fluffy.
